This race category is geared towards
beginner – low intermediate downhill riders that are looking
to experience their FIRST season of downhill racing in a competitive
but fun environment. The focus on this category is for riders to
develop basic racing skills and confidence before moving up to the
highly-competitive Amateur Class. In this class you will race the same
course as other categories, but will have the option of taking slower,
less technical lines around difficult terrain.
